Professor Ing. Pavel Osmera, CSc., is a retired teacher of informatics and researcher at FSI-BUT in Brno. He completed his high school graduation in 1964 and earned his engineering degree from the University of Technology in Brno in 1969. He pursued a scientific candidacy (CSc.) from VAAZ-Brno in 1978 and became a docent in the field of Automation in 1987. In 2002, he was appointed as an associate professor in the field of Control Systems at VÅ B-TU Ostrava, and in 2009, he achieved the title of professor at CTU-Prague. His career includes various teaching and leadership roles, such as a university teacher at BUT in Brno from 1984 to 1991, Head of the Department of Informatics from 1991 to 1994, and Director of the Institute of Automation and Informatics at BUT from 1994 to 2000. From 2009 to 2020, he served as a teaching professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology. Professor Osmera's scientific contributions include work optimization for omnidirectional robots, automatic generation of programs for adaptive control, and advancements in fuzzy and neural networks. His areas of specialization encompass soft computing, automatic program generation, evolutionary optimization, and physical chemistry. He has developed models such as the vortex fractal ring structures and a novel ring model of graphene and borophene, incorporating protons, neutrons, and electrons. His research on neutrino energy involves transforming neutrino energy using graphene into electrical energy. Additionally, he has proposed the fractal ring model electron theory and developed photocatalytic air and water purifiers. In his professional career, Professor Osmera has also held the roles of Managing Director and Partner of GENOPS, s.r.o., and Partner of New Czech Technology NCT s.r.o. He has authored and co-authored 24 professional and scientific publications, with 53 domestic and 22 foreign citations. His innovative contributions include 9 inventions and 12 utility models, with 5 recent patent applications for photocatalytic air and water purifiers. His photocatalytic air purifiers are designed to decompose viruses, including coronavirus, flu, fungi, and bacteria, as well as cigarette smoke and chimney emissions into harmless molecules. He is currently focused on photocatalytic water purification for applications like swimming pools and continues his research on the structure of borophene and graphene.

Prof. Jaroslaw Milewski works at the Warsaw University of Technology's Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering, specifically in the Institute of Heat Engineering. He serves as the Head of the Power Division at the Institute of Heat Engineering, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Power Technologies, and a Member of the Editorial Board of Applied Energy. Prof. Milewski also holds the position of Director of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Center at the Institute of Applied Research. His expertise includes fuel cell research (Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells–MCFC and Solid Oxide Fuel Cells–SOFC) as well as other power sources, hybrid systems, advanced power systems (hydrogen-based), and steam/gas turbine power generation systems. Prof. Milewski has considerable experience collaborating with the power engineering industry. He has authored and co-authored over 300 publications and 5 or more patents, with a Hirsch index of 24 based on Google Scholar statistics. He teaches courses on turbomachinery, turbomachinery theory, environmental protection, numerical tools in power plant simulations, hybrid systems, and more.

Jonathan Katz is a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland who conducts research on cryptography and cybersecurity. In 2019–2020 he was a faculty member in the Volgenau School of Engineering at George Mason University, where he held the title of Eminent Scholar in Cybersecurity.[1] In 2013–2019 he was director of the Maryland Cybersecurity Center at the University of Maryland.

Dr. Gayathri Venkataramani is a distinguished and dynamic researcher specializing in Renewable Energy, Energy Storage, Climate Change, and Sustainability, with over 15 years of impactful contributions since 2010. She earned her postgraduate degree with a Gold Medal from Anna University in the field of Solar Energy and completed her Ph.D. in Energy Storage for Renewable Energy Systems at Anna University, Chennai, in 2018, supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. As part of her doctoral research, Dr. Venkataramani completed an international research internship at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, in 2015. In the same year, she was invited as a keynote speaker at the 5th International Conference on Smart Grids and Clean Energy at the University of Offenburg, Germany. She holds six Indian patents in Renewable Energy and Energy Storage technologies and has published nearly 15 high-impact international research articles, including in Nature Scientific Reports. Her excellence in research and leadership was recognized through her selection to represent India at the BRICS Young Scientist Forum held in South Africa, organized jointly by the Department of Science and Technology (GoI) and the Department of Science and Innovation (South Africa). Committed to advancing Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy for All), Dr. Venkataramani has actively promoted clean energy solutions through consultancy-based energy and environmental audits for major industries, including the Chennai Port Trust. She is currently executing an international bilateral project on Sustainable Building Development with Energy Storage with Concordia University, Canada, funded under the DST-IC-IMPACT initiative. She is also leading a multi-national research collaboration on the Digital Transformation of Green Energy involving Austria, Germany, Denmark, and Spain, supported by the Joint MI Call of the Department of Science and Technology, India. Dr. Venkataramani is an active member of WIRE (Women in Renewable Energy) – Canada South Asia Chapter, championing the cause of empowering women leaders in clean energy and technology sectors across regions. She has delivered over 20 keynote lectures nationally and internationally, promoting clean energy transitions, climate resilience, and gender equity. She has also chaired several international and national conferences, contributing to global dialogues on energy, sustainability, and innovation. Through her involvement in technical and non-technical forums, she actively works to inspire and empower women in science, engineering, and technology. Recognized as a thought leader and a public intellectual, Dr. Gayathri Venkataramani frequently appears on leading Tamil Nadu media channels to advocate for quality education, clean energy adoption, and women's empowerment.

Dr Ruomei LI is the Chair of Women in Power (WIP) Chair of IEEE PES, WIP Liaison in IEEE WIP, member of LRP in PES. She is senior member of IEEE. She has been PES WIP chair of China since 2018. Ruomei is the initiator and organizer of international women engineers events in power and energy field in Chinasince 2012. She is the CIGRE WIE Chair/Co-Chair in 2013~2018. She is now in Board of Supervisors of CWAST (China Women’s Association for Science and Technology). Ruomei Li is now the Invited Research Fellow of Energy Internet Research Institute in Tsinghua University since 2015. Before, she was the Deputy Secretary General/Secretary General of CSEE, during 2004~2013, responsible for the management of the society with 120,000 membership. She has made important contributions in speeding up the internationalization process of power and energy engineers in China, and promoted the partnership with IEEE, CIGRE, CIRED, ICEE, WFEO, IET, ASME, ABB, Siemens and GE. Ruomei LI received her Ph.D. from University of Bath, UK, in 2000; M.E. from CEPRI in 1989; and B.E. from Hefei University of Technology, China, in 1982. During 1994~1995, Ruomei has been in UMIST, UK, upon Lee Kai Hueng Fellowship Foundation. Ruomei started her career as electrical engineer in 1982, in Power Dispatching Center of Anhui Provincial Power Bureau, China, for 4 years. From 1989 to 1994, she is in China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI), as researcher and project manager, in the fields of power system simulation, planning and operation control. During 1994~1995 in UMIST, UK, she has done the work of reliability and economic assessment on the system with pumped storage. Ruomei LI has worked in power electronics field since 1996. From 2000~2004, Ruomei is the Chief Engineer of S&T Dept of CEPRI, one of her main achievement is on real-time digital simulation of complex power system. Ruomei LI is the moderator of Major Group of S&T in The Asian and Pacific Regional Implementation Meeting on Rio + 20 Outcomes, Bangkok, 2013. She participated UN CSW event in New York every year from 2017 to 2019, being speakers in parallel events several times. Ruomei LI is the recipient of IEEE PES Wanda Reder Pioneer in Power Award in 2019.

Adrian Ioinovici, IEEE Fellow,is the Director of the Power Electronics based on Switched Capacitors (PESC) Center,the Shanghai University of Electrical Power, China, within the “one thousand foreign experts plan”, and holds honorary professorships from many universities He got the IEEE Fellow grade for “pioneering work in switched-capacitor converters” and served as Associate Editor for many IEEE Transactions. He authorized the books Computer-Aided Analysis of Active Circuits (New York: Marcel Dekker, 1990) and Power Electronics and Energy Conversion Systems, Volume 1: Fundamentals and Hard-switching Converters (Wiley, 2013). His main research interests are switching-capacitor converters and inverters, large dc gain converters, soft-switching converters.He published over 200 papers in IEEE Transactions and conferences.

Gilles Jacquemod, Full Professor, received MSc degree (DEA) in microelectronics from Ecole Centrale Lyon in 1986. He received the Ph.D. degree in integrated electronics from INSA Lyon, in 1989. In 2000, he joined the LEAT laboratory and the Ecole Polytechnique Nice-Sophia Antipolis (Côte d’Azur University) as full professor. Since 2011, he is head of Polytech’Lab (UPR UniCA 7498). Dr. Arsalan Hadaeghi is currently serving as an R&D Senior Engineer at Hitachi Energy, Sweden, where he focuses on the control and protection of HVDC systems. Ivan Tolj graduated in 2005 from Faculty of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and naval architecture (FESB), University of Split (Croatia). He started to work at the same Faculty in 2006 as a research/teaching assistant on a project financed by the Ministry of science, education and sports of Republic of Croatia entitled “Passive fuel cells to supply oxygen from the air by natural convection”. He has worked on both modelling and experimental aspects of fuel cells R&D. He also participates in teaching on “Thermodynamics I”, “Thermodynamics II”, “Heating and air conditioning”, “Measurements in engineering” and “Ship machinery and equipment.” As a NATO fellow, in 2007 he attended the summer school “Mini-Micro Fuel Cells-Fundamentals and Applications” in Cesme/Izmir Republic of Turkey. In 2012 he defended a doctoral thesis “Temperature field selection in order to improve membrane fuel cell performance” and was awarded a dr.sc (Doctor of Science) from the University of Split. From 2012 to 2014 he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at HySA Systems, SAIAMC (South African Institute for Advanced Materials Chemistry), University of the Western Cape, South Africa in the field of hydrogen technologies. He is currently Associate Professor at FESB in the Department of thermodynamics where he is doing research in the field of hydrogen technologies: fuel cells, hydrogen production, storage and compression, fuel cell hybrid system energy management and control etc. He also teaches several courses: ‘’Thermodynamics’’, ‘’Heat and mass transfer’’, “Heating and air conditioning’’, ‘’Metrology”, ‘’Fuel Cells’’ and ‘’Hydrogen energy systems’’. He acts as Assistant Editor in International journal of hydrogen energy (IF 7.2) and guest editor in Journal of Energy Storage (IF 9.4) and Energies (IF 3.0). He published numerous scientific papers in reputable international high impact journals and presented at many international conferences. He is member of the scientific committee of the several international conferences and the conference chair of 6th International Symposium on Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion (mESC-IS 2022). He published one book ‘’Heat and mass transfer’’ and several book chapters. He has extensive collaboration with industry and academy partners such as: University of the Western Cape, HySA Systems Competence Centre, IFE Norway, Helmholtz-Zentrum hereon GmbH, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Impala Platinum Ltd. etc. He leads HORIZON2020 project: Hydrogen Fuelled Utility Vehicles and Their Support Systems Utilising Metal Hydrides and he is involved in several other project dealing with green energy and mobility. Within proposed project he is going to act as a trainer and member of the management board and will contribute to dissemination activities. He is also team leader at University of Split of International Engineering Competence Centres to push Sustainable Mobility Development in Albania and Montenegro project within Erasmus+ Capacity Building In Higher Education.

Song Hongwei, male, born in October 1967, is a professor, doctoral supervisor, national leading talent, winner of the Hundred Talents Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, senior expert of Jilin Province, Tang Aoqing Distinguished Professor of Jilin University; member of the Luminescence Professional Committee of the Chinese Rare Earth Society, member of the Luminescence Professional Committee of the Chinese Physical Society, editorial board member and standing committee member of the Journal of Luminescence, distinguished professor of East China University of Technology, Ningbo University, and Nanyang Normal University, and reviewer of more than 30 international journals such as JACS and ACS Nano. Professor Songül Fiat Varol is working in Manisa Celal Bayar University in Electric and Energy department. Her main research interests have been materials science especially technology of semiconductor materials and devices including solar cells, light emitting diodes (LEDs/OLEDs). She has published more than 30 scientific papers in this field in the internationally recognized journals. She has supervised 1 Ph.D. and 5 M.Sc. studies. She has coordinated many national/ international projects and joined more than 40 international scientific conferences and meetings as invited speaker/speaker/organising committee member. She has published in high-ranking SCI-expanded journals on the production and characterization of many organic/inorganic-based thin-film materials that are the most trending in science like ZnO, TiO2, CuInGaSeTe, Nitrides (GaN, AlN) etc. She still continues her research on Organic/Inorganic LED and PV device production and improvement of their properties.

Dr. Antonio de Lucas-Consuegra is a Full Professor of Chemical Engineering at UCLM. He graduated first in his class (2004) and earned his Ph.D. (cum laude, European Label) in 2008, receiving the Extraordinary Thesis Award. His research focuses on electrocatalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, and electrolysis, with over 100 JCR publications (65 in Q1), 2,500 citations (H-index: 25), and co-authored of three patents He has supervised six Ph.D. theses (+2 ongoing) and secured European funding (ELOBIO project).

Muhammad Mokhzaini Azizan is an Associate Professor at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, and his work revolves around Engineering fields, majoring in Power and Energy, Renewable Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Wireless Power Transfer and Security, and Image Processing, among others. His doctoral thesis focused on Power Transformers and Power Quality and has since produced a wide range of solutions to power quality-related problem statements. Due to rapid advancements in intelligence in systems, he embraced Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, etc for a greater impact on the communities. He continues to produce translational research for wider communities, for example through the use of AI and ML, the behavior of a herd of elephants can be tracked, and innovations such as dryers and machines are benefitting small and medium enterprises in Malaysia. He was the head of an innovation company that provided intelligent solutions, intellectuals, etc for various businesses, through strategic ventures between academic and industry players. He is also a Malaysian Professional Engineer and Professional Technologist since 2020. He was appointed Deputy Dean (Research and Innovation) in 2023 and is currently working to facilitate research and innovation profile at the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment.

Dr Arijit Ganguli is currently working as an Assistant Professor in School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Ahmedabad University. He received his PhD degree from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai in 2009. Post PhD, he has spent some time receiving international and industrial exposure. This constituted a two year Post Doc Experience in the Germany at the University of Paderborn and Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland and around 7 years industrial experience in a multinational giant (SABIC). His industrial experience comprised of simulating industrial scale fixed bed reactors using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and process modeling of Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) plants for process optimization. He has two patents to his credit due to the work done during this period. His current research interests include CFD of multiphase flows, microfluidics, solar energy and design optimization of process equipment’s using CFD. Dr. Ganguli has around 40 International publications and has more than 20 Conference presentations to his credit. Over the years Dr. Ganguli’s research has focused on ways and means in harnessing renewable energy mainly nuclear and solar. He has been Editor of an ebook titled, “Role of mathematical modeling in advanced power generation reactors” with Frontiers Publishing. Apart from his research, in an era of interdisciplinary learning, Dr. Ganguli is engaged in having collaborations with interdisciplinary faculties of national and international repute. Dr. Ganguli is also passionate and actively involved in teaching several undergraduate and postgraduate courses of Chemical Engineering.
