Prof. Dai-Yeun Jeong is presently the Director of Asia Climate Change Education Center and an emeritus prof. of environmental sociology at Jeju National University in South Korea. He received BA and MA degree in sociology from Korea University (South Korea), and PhD in environmental sociology from University of Queensland (Australia). He was a prof. of environmental sociology at Jeju National University (South Korea) from 1981 to 2012. His past major professional activities include a teaching professor at University of Sheffield in UK, the president of Asia-Pacific Sociological Association, a delegate of South Korean Government to UNFCCC and OECD environmental meeting, and a member of Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development Republic of Korea, etc. He has published 60 environment-related research papers in domestic and international journals and 13 books including Environmental Sociology. He has conducted 100 unpublished environment-related research projects funded by domestic and international organizations.

Professor Ing. Pavel Osmera, CSc., is a retired teacher of informatics and researcher at FSI-BUT in Brno. He completed his high school graduation in 1964 and earned his engineering degree from the University of Technology in Brno in 1969. He pursued a scientific candidacy (CSc.) from VAAZ-Brno in 1978 and became a docent in the field of Automation in 1987. In 2002, he was appointed as an associate professor in the field of Control Systems at VÅ B-TU Ostrava, and in 2009, he achieved the title of professor at CTU-Prague. His career includes various teaching and leadership roles, such as a university teacher at BUT in Brno from 1984 to 1991, Head of the Department of Informatics from 1991 to 1994, and Director of the Institute of Automation and Informatics at BUT from 1994 to 2000. From 2009 to 2020, he served as a teaching professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Brno University of Technology. Professor Osmera's scientific contributions include work optimization for omnidirectional robots, automatic generation of programs for adaptive control, and advancements in fuzzy and neural networks. His areas of specialization encompass soft computing, automatic program generation, evolutionary optimization, and physical chemistry. He has developed models such as the vortex fractal ring structures and a novel ring model of graphene and borophene, incorporating protons, neutrons, and electrons. His research on neutrino energy involves transforming neutrino energy using graphene into electrical energy. Additionally, he has proposed the fractal ring model electron theory and developed photocatalytic air and water purifiers. In his professional career, Professor Osmera has also held the roles of Managing Director and Partner of GENOPS, s.r.o., and Partner of New Czech Technology NCT s.r.o. He has authored and co-authored 24 professional and scientific publications, with 53 domestic and 22 foreign citations. His innovative contributions include 9 inventions and 12 utility models, with 5 recent patent applications for photocatalytic air and water purifiers. His photocatalytic air purifiers are designed to decompose viruses, including coronavirus, flu, fungi, and bacteria, as well as cigarette smoke and chimney emissions into harmless molecules. He is currently focused on photocatalytic water purification for applications like swimming pools and continues his research on the structure of borophene and graphene.

Prof. Jaroslaw Milewski works at the Warsaw University of Technology's Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering, specifically in the Institute of Heat Engineering. He serves as the Head of the Power Division at the Institute of Heat Engineering, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Power Technologies, and a Member of the Editorial Board of Applied Energy. Prof. Milewski also holds the position of Director of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Center at the Institute of Applied Research. His expertise includes fuel cell research (Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells–MCFC and Solid Oxide Fuel Cells–SOFC) as well as other power sources, hybrid systems, advanced power systems (hydrogen-based), and steam/gas turbine power generation systems. Prof. Milewski has considerable experience collaborating with the power engineering industry. He has authored and co-authored over 300 publications and 5 or more patents, with a Hirsch index of 24 based on Google Scholar statistics. He teaches courses on turbomachinery, turbomachinery theory, environmental protection, numerical tools in power plant simulations, hybrid systems, and more.

Jonathan Katz is a professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland who conducts research on cryptography and cybersecurity. In 2019–2020 he was a faculty member in the Volgenau School of Engineering at George Mason University, where he held the title of Eminent Scholar in Cybersecurity.[1] In 2013–2019 he was director of the Maryland Cybersecurity Center at the University of Maryland.

Dr Ruomei LI is the Chair of Women in Power (WIP) Chair of IEEE PES, WIP Liaison in IEEE WIP, member of LRP in PES. She is senior member of IEEE. She has been PES WIP chair of China since 2018. Ruomei is the initiator and organizer of international women engineers events in power and energy field in Chinasince 2012. She is the CIGRE WIE Chair/Co-Chair in 2013~2018. She is now in Board of Supervisors of CWAST (China Women’s Association for Science and Technology). Ruomei Li is now the Invited Research Fellow of Energy Internet Research Institute in Tsinghua University since 2015. Before, she was the Deputy Secretary General/Secretary General of CSEE, during 2004~2013, responsible for the management of the society with 120,000 membership. She has made important contributions in speeding up the internationalization process of power and energy engineers in China, and promoted the partnership with IEEE, CIGRE, CIRED, ICEE, WFEO, IET, ASME, ABB, Siemens and GE. From 2000~2004, Ruomei is the Chief Engineer of S&T Dept of CEPRI, one of her main achievement is on real-time digital simulation of complex power system. Adrian Ioinovici, IEEE Fellow,is the Director of the Power Electronics based on Switched Capacitors (PESC) Center,the Shanghai University of Electrical Power, China, within the “one thousand foreign experts plan”, and holds honorary professorships from many universities He got the IEEE Fellow grade for “pioneering work in switched-capacitor converters” and served as Associate Editor for many IEEE Transactions. Gilles Jacquemod, Full Professor, received MSc degree (DEA) in microelectronics from Ecole Centrale Lyon in 1986. He received the Ph.D. degree in integrated electronics from INSA Lyon, in 1989. In 2000, he joined the LEAT laboratory and the Ecole Polytechnique Nice-Sophia Antipolis (Côte d’Azur University) as full professor. Since 2011, he is head of Polytech’Lab (UPR UniCA 7498). Sung Yeol Kwon began his successful tenure in academia in his home country of South Korea. After lecturing for one year at Kyungpook National University in Daegu, he subsequently joined Andong Science College, where he taught as an assistant professor from 1994 to 1998. In 2002, he joined the faculty at Pukyong National University (PKNU) as an engineering professor, where he continues to teach and conduct research today. During his time at PKNU, Dr. Kwon was afforded the opportunity to lead the department between 2005 and 2008, which is currently comprised of approximately 120 undergraduate students and 20 graduate students. Alongside his primary teaching endeavors, Dr. Kwon has also served as a consultant to multiple organizations, including the Korea Strategic Trade Institute, Korea Meteorological Administration, National Research Foundation of Korea, Small and Medium Business Administration and Ministry of Trade Industry and Energy. Additionally, he is the author of the 2002 work, “Sensors and Interface for A Ubiquitous Computing,” having also contributed numerous articles to publications and scientific papers. Dr. Kwon obtained a Doctor of Philosophy from Kyungpook National University in 2000 and went on to conduct postdoctoral coursework within the Department of Physics at Université de Limoges in France in 2006. Notably, he began his teaching career at the age of 24. Finding great success throughout the course of his career, Dr. Kwon has been bestowed with various awards and accolades. In 2016, the International Biographical Centre granted him the Sir Issac Newton Legacy of Honour Award, the Order of International Fellowship, the Cambridge Certificated for Outstanding Engineering Achievement, the IBC Lifetime Achievement Award and the International Distinction of Cultural Merit. That same year, he was also named to The Cambridge Order of Esteemed Intellectuals. As part of his civic duty, Dr. Kwon became a candidate for congress for the Republic of South Korea in 2020 and plans to run again in 2024. Earlier, he served in the Republic of Korean Army from 1990 to 1991. Dedicated to his endeavors and fields, he remains active as a lifetime member of the Korean Sensors Society, a board member of the Korean Institute of Signal Processing and Systems, secretary general of the United Cultural Convention in Cambridge, England and deputy director of the Asian Branch of the International Biographical Center. Dr. Kwon has also remained a member of the Korea Physical Society and Polymer Society of Korea.

He had worked at various levels in academia and the field of electrical power for last 34 years. Dr. Alhalaili is an associate research scientist at the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials program at KISR. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with concentration in electrical engineering from Louisiana Tech University in 2007. In addition, she holds M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the same school in 2008. She completed an online postgraduate in nanotechnology, which is offered by Oxford University in 2010. She received her Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from UC Davis in 2019. Her Ph.D. work focuses on gallium oxide (Ga2O3) growth, etching, device fabrication, and characterizations. This research is very important for the field of UV sensors and high-power electronics. Dr. Alhalaili has developed “A novel technique for the growth of gallium oxide nanowires”. Dr. Alhalaili has already authored a number of publications on Ga2O3 synthesis and devices. Her research focuses on the nanofabrication, nanodevices, nanosensors, wideband gap materials, and nanomaterials for applications in harsh environment and renewable and sustainable energy.

Olebogeng Sentsho is an entrepreneur with interests in mining and finance. Olebogeng is an alumni of the 2017 Mandela Washington Fellowship, the flagship pro-gramme for the Young African Leaders Initiative, run by the US State department. She is the Chief Executive Officer at The Simba Mgodi Mining Incubation Fund, a devel-opment fund that supports emerging entrepreneurs in Mining and mining services. Olebogeng serves on the boards of several mining services companies and has extensive experience in investment analysis and deal making. Ivan Tolj graduated in 2005 from Faculty of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and naval architecture (FESB), University of Split (Croatia). He started to work at the same Faculty in 2006 as a research/teaching assistant on a project financed by the Ministry of science, education and sports of Republic of Croatia entitled “Passive fuel cells to supply oxygen from the air by natural convection”. He has worked on both modelling and experimental aspects of fuel cells R&D. He also participates in teaching on “Thermodynamics I”, “Thermodynamics II”, “Heating and air conditioning”, “Measurements in engineering” and “Ship machinery and equipment.” As a NATO fellow, in 2007 he attended the summer school “Mini-Micro Fuel Cells-Fundamentals and Applications” in Cesme/Izmir Republic of Turkey. In 2012 he defended a doctoral thesis “Temperature field selection in order to improve membrane fuel cell performance” and was awarded a dr.sc (Doctor of Science) from the University of Split. From 2012 to 2014 he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at HySA Systems, SAIAMC (South African Institute for Advanced Materials Chemistry), University of the Western Cape, South Africa in the field of hydrogen technologies. He is currently Associate Professor at FESB in the Department of thermodynamics where he is doing research in the field of hydrogen technologies: fuel cells, hydrogen production, storage and compression, fuel cell hybrid system energy management and control etc. He also teaches several courses: ‘’Thermodynamics’’, ‘’Heat and mass transfer’’, “Heating and air conditioning’’, ‘’Metrology”, ‘’Fuel Cells’’ and ‘’Hydrogen energy systems’’. He acts as Assistant Editor in International journal of hydrogen energy (IF 7.2) and guest editor in Journal of Energy Storage (IF 9.4) and Energies (IF 3.0). He published numerous scientific papers in reputable international high impact journals and presented at many international conferences. He is member of the scientific committee of the several international conferences and the conference chair of 6th International Symposium on Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion (mESC-IS 2022). He published one book ‘’Heat and mass transfer’’ and several book chapters. He has extensive collaboration with industry and academy partners such as: University of the Western Cape, HySA Systems Competence Centre, IFE Norway, Helmholtz-Zentrum hereon GmbH, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Impala Platinum Ltd. etc. He leads HORIZON2020 project: Hydrogen Fuelled Utility Vehicles and Their Support Systems Utilising Metal Hydrides and he is involved in several other project dealing with green energy and mobility. Within proposed project he is going to act as a trainer and member of the management board and will contribute to dissemination activities. He is also team leader at University of Split of International Engineering Competence Centres to push Sustainable Mobility Development in Albania and Montenegro project within Erasmus+ Capacity Building In Higher Education.

Tang Bingsong, Associate professor. He works at Zhejiang Guangsha Vocational and Technical University of Construction. He is a member of the Architectural Society of China. He is also a member of China Civil and Engineering Society. He is a youth editor of Journal of City Architecture. His interests cover PPP projects, conflict and dispute management in projects. Dr Arijit Ganguli is currently working as an Assistant Professor in School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Ahmedabad University. From 2013, he acted as a Senior Power System Engineer and Innovation Manager with UK National Grid Plc. and UK National Electricity Network Control Center. He left the UK and joined in Tianjin University China in early 2018. His research focus is on stability analysis and novel control scheme designs for VSC-HVDC transmission systems and renewable power generations. He published over 50 academic papers. He acts as an associate editor for IET journals Renewable Power Generation and Energy Systems Integration. He is also one of 1000 Plan Young Professionals, an IEEE Senior Member, an IET Chartered Engineer, a Board Expert for IEC SC8A committee “Integrations of Renewable Energy Generation”, deputy secretary for IEEE PES China subcommittee “DC Transmission and Distribution System Simulation”.

Yue Cao is an associate professor with tenure in energy systems at Oregon State University (OSU). Before joining OSU, he was a research scientist in the propulsions team at Amazon Prime Air in Seattle, WA. He has been a power electronics or power systems intern with special projects group at Apple Inc., Cupertino, CA; Halliburton Company, Houston, TX; Flanders Electric, Evansville, IN; Oak Ridge National Laboratory, TN; and Memphis Light Gas Water – Utility, TN. His research interests include power electronics, motor drives, and energy storage with applications in renewable energy integration and transportation electrification. He has been a PI or co-PI of multiple projects sponsored by NSF, DOE ARPA-E, DOE EERE, NAVFAC, Portland General Electric, Amazon Prime Air, and Grainger Foundation. He is a Senior Member of IEEE. Dr. Cao is the 2023 OSU Promising Scholar awarded by the faculty senate. He received the 2022 NSF CAREER award. He is selected into National Academy of Engineering Frontier of Engineering Class of 2022. He won the Oregon State Learning Innovation Grant for transformative education in 2020. He received the Myron Zucker student award from the IEEE Industry Applications Society in 2010. He was a national finalist of the USA Mathematical Olympiad in 2006 and 2007. Dr. Cao is currently the Vice Chair of IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) TC11 – Aerospace Power. He was the Special Sessions Chair of IEEE ECCE 2022 (Energy Conversion Congress Expo) and the Tutorials Chair of ECCE 2021. Since 2019, he has served as an invited panelist for multiple DOE and NSF proposal reviews. He is currently an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification and an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications.

Dr Yong Yi currently works as a Professor-level Senior Engineer in China Southern Power Grid Co Ltd. His researches focus on battery energy storage system, novel dielectricmaterial for application of electrical power system; condition monitoring for smart electrical grid; machine learning for high-temperature polymer-based dielectrics; conductor aginginsmart electrical grid; high voltage engineering. He is a reviewer of about 20 international Journals. He is editorial members of 4 international Journals. He was 5 conference chairs. He authored and co-authored over 80 journal publications. He is a senior member of IEEE. He has attracted more than 1 million dollars in research grants from industrial partners, National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc.

Hyegang Son, Researcher in Intelligent Computer Architecture & Systems research Lab - Korea University. He received his B.S. from the same department with early graduation and high honors. His research focuses on system-level optimization for machine learning and energy-efficient computing for edge devices. He has presented at top-tier conferences such as NAACL and has experience in both academic research and industry collaboration. He is also an active contributor to technical committees, with a strong interest in the intersection of AI and computer architecture.

Assist. Prof. Chia-Jung Cho is a faculty member at the Department of Chemical Engineering at I-Shou University, where he has served as an Assistant Professor since 2022. He earned his Ph.D. in Organic and Polymeric Materials from the National Taipei University of Technology in 2018.
